Southern Crave

Food is worth it. The Mac was cheeseee, the wings crispy, the collards had flavor, and the smoked Oxtail was smoking! I definitely enjoyed it. Wish the location was bigger but grab, go, and enjoy!

I'm glad I decided to sit in the long line of traffic to get to Southern Crave. I don't live in Columbia (I'm visiting from Athens, GA) but this menu intrigued me. When I walked in the door, I was pleasantly greeted. I ordered the grilled salmon with collards & fried okra. The wait was only about 10-15 minutes but we'll worth it. The salmon had a nice glaze and the salmon was exceptionally moist and spiced to perfection. The collards were also deliciously prepared and the okra was tender yet properly fried and no lingering grease to be found. The portions were more than sufficient. I would highly recommend this establishment, especially since they have an extensive selection of southern fare which I'm sure everything is as delicious as the salmon. Kudos to the chef. I am sad that there is nothing this good in Athens. But it's only a 3 hour drive... ; ^ ) P.S. The picture reflects only about half the portion of food provided.

Omgeeeez!!! If you haven't gone and placed an order yet, you are TRULY missing out on some greatness!! Customer service is great and the food is TOP TIER ! Portions are amazing and for me...the portions match the price!! Keep being amazing y'all and I'm already looking forward to the next time God allows me to swang (yes swang) by!! My tummy is well pleased! And for our 16 yr. old to want a plate of ox tails says something!!

Southern Crave hands down is my Friday go to place! The food and staff are AMAZING! The food is definitely worth the wait. They should offer the choice of a small or large side. I feel like the portion you receive for $5 is overpriced for what normally would be considered a small side. & yes I paid for 3 extra sides because ITS JUST THAT DARN GOOD! Update 7/14 Hell’s Kitchen This time I tried the salmon. I initially wanted the fried lemon pepper wings but they were sold out. The salmon was AMAZING and my two sides were Mac & Cheese and Yams. The Mac did not hit me like the it did the first time. When I open the box I was looking for that kinda burnt on the side granny style Mac and I got. Becky’s mother through craft in the oven looking Mac. However the taste wasn’t too far off but you can definitely tell it was rushed or Grandmother made it instead of Big Mama. PSA - Please Fix The AC!

Literally stumbled across this gem on Friday next door sitting in a parking lot. I walked in and the beautiful young lady was friendly and warm. The music playlist was a vibe and as I browse their menu, I instantly wanted everything….but that’s because I was hungry! This was my first visit, but will officially become a routine drop in bc the oxtaaaaaiiiiiilllllssss….My Gawd!!! Everything I purchased was eaten-left no crumbs!

A+Quality of Food A+ Speed of Service A+ Customer Service The chicken wings are seasoned very well. The Mac n Cheese was great and the customer service was on point. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be back for more of the chicken wings and maccaroni

I was visiting South Carolina for my nephew's graduation and wanted some good soul food. My sister took us to Southern Crave and I must say the food was so good. This is the food from our 2nd day of eating there. The food was so good on Saturday that we all had lamb chops with a variety of sides mac & cheese, yams, collard greens, black eye peas. The lamb chops were seasoned to perfection and tender. The sides were so delicious, We had different sides as it was 3 of us. So we decided to go back on Sunday. I had the smoked oxtail with collard greens and Mac & cheese and my husband had the stir-fried salmon with rice and a side of seafood mac and cheese. I highly recommend this establishment if you are in the area. The customer service was top-notch, friendly, and courteous
